A bar mitzvah is usually celebrated for the males in the family. This celebration is a coming-of-age ceremony that marks the time when a young person is considered a legal adult within the Jewish community (Molloy 319).
Several shows create comedic versions of a bar mitzvah by calling in "bro mitzvah."

- Cindy talks to a rabbi, or a religious teacher/a Jewish minister, in order to convert to Judaism.
