What are Indigenous Religions?
Indigenous religions are ancient religions that were practiced by native people across the world before the introduction of major religions such as Christianity and Islam. A more familiar term could be native religions. These type of religions were practiced by famous native tribes such as the Aztecs and the Mayans. Famous examples of such people from these cultures can be seen in the images below.
