The Origins/ Founders of Hinduism
Hinduism is the major religion of India. Various scholars debate on the earliest stages of Hinduism. It has no identifiable founder, though which justifies lack of strong organizational structure. Hinduism has no creed to define and stabilize its beliefs. From many Hinduism is more of a family of beliefs.

Though there is no real founder, many scholars debate on the earliest stages of Hinduism. There are two theories about the origins of Hinduism, The Aryan Invasion Theory and the Aryan Migration Theory.
The Aryan Invasion Theory suggests that one group called the Aryans moved from present-day Southern Russian, about 2000BCE, into India. They brought their language and religion with them. Aryans imposed their social order violently on India. While on the other hand, the Aryan Migration Theory suggests that repeated waves of migrations into northern India. Theses waves brought much contact between foreign and indigenous cultures, thus creating Hinduism. |
